30 Day Song Challenge (Part 2)

 Day 09 -  a song that you can dance to

Britney Spears - I Got That Boom Boom

I’m not really a die hard fan but I appreciate her talent as a performing artist. She may not sing well but whenever she performs, I’m amazed. Aside from Toxic, this is maybe one of my few faves from her that makes my muscles move.

Day 10 - a song that makes you fall asleep

Corinne Bailey Rae - Like a Star

The likes of Jack Johnson, Joshua Radin, Ingrid Michaelson and Coldplay. But I had to pick this beautiful piece from Corinne Bailey Rae. The smooth rhythm flow relaxes you and makes you feel so in love at the same time.  

Day 11 - a song from your favorite band

The Kooks - Love it All

I can’t say this band is better than that band or those bands but I’ve got to give The Kooks a shot.

Day 12 - a song from a band you hate

Simple Plan - Perfect

I admit I had my “Sorry, I can’t be perfect” moments back in high school days but now I realized…it’s either this band is creating naive music or maybe i’m just getting older.

Day 13 - a song that is a guilty pleasure


Debbie Gibson - Foolish Beat

How can you not like Debbie Gibson?

Day 14 - a song that no one would expect you to love

Miley Cyrus - The Climb

I’m not a fan and aside from this (song), Party in the USA are her songs I can promptly remember. I just thought that, comparing to some crappy love songs nowadays, this is more sensible.

Day 15 - a song that describes you

Jason Mraz - Geek in the Pink

Well let the geek in the pink take a stab at it. If you like the way I’m thinking baby wink at it. I may be skinny at times but I’m fat for the rhymes, pass me the mic and I’m a grab at it. I don’t care what you might think about me, you’ll get by without me if you want because I’m the geek in the pink.

 

Day 16 - a song that you used to love but now hate

Secondhand serenade - Your Call

I don’t know when did i started not liking this kind of music like how i dig ‘em back in the old days. I just noticed my frequently skipping of these kind of songs in my playlist. Let’s just say I’ve already outgrown in these emo craps. But let My Chemical Romance and The Cures be an exception, please.
